ITINERARY FOR MOHARE DANDA TO GHOREPANI TREK

Mohare Danda Trek is newly discovered hiking route in Annapurna region. It is the best choice for those enthusiasts’ travelers who have a short time to explore unlimited cultural and natural beauties of Nepal. Mohare Danda trek provides the closest view of massive mount Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges from Mohare hill station at an elevation of 3,300m from sea level.

Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival - 1300m
Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu and meet, assist and transfer to the hotel by our representative. Welcome drinks on arrival and briefing of tour program by one of the representatives from Aarya Village Travel from Nepal.

Day 2: Kathmandu – Pokhara - 900m altitude (B)
After Breakfast drive to Pokhara. It is around 6-7 hours drive from Kathmandu (depends on traffic). Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty, situated at an altitude of 900m from the sea level and 200km west of Kathmandu valley. The enchanting town has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambiance of peace and magic. Check in hotel. Enjoy walking along the bank of Phewa Lake in the evening, admiring the stunning reflection of the Fish Tail Peak in the blue Phewa Lake's water.

Day 3: Pokhara – Galeshwor – Banskharka (4 hours drive) 3 hours of a walk (1526m) (B/L/D)
After breakfast at a hotel, we start to drive from Pokhara to Galeshwor along the bank of Modi and Kaligandaki river. We will take lunch at Galeshwor and start our trekking by crossing the suspension bridge of Kaligandaki river. We start to ascend the uphill for 3 hours through beautiful villages and orange farms. There are no tea shops for a tea break and to buy water on the way. We can view Mt. Dhaulagiri and Mt. Nilgiri.  Overnight at a community of Banskharka and they provide food at a community hall.

Day 4: Banskharka – Nangi - 6 hours walk (2320m) (B/L/D)
After taking our breakfast at community hall we start our trekking towards Nangi. This goes along with forest with beautiful landscapes, views of mountains and wonderful Magar settlement. We take a lunch at Dandakateri village(2009m) and walk forward towards Nangi and stay overnight at community lodge.

Day 5: Nangi to Mohare Danda - 6 hours walk (3320m) (B/L/D)
After a hot breakfast with the view of Mt. Dhaulagiri we start to walk up hills through the forest, there is no tea shop before the lunch place. After the lunch, we go through grasslands forest with the valley view of Pokhara on our side. Once we get close to Mohara Danda, we can see a magnificent view of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna range on the north side and the Phewa lake with hills and Pokhara valley on the south part of Mohara Danda. In the evening, we observe glorious sunset view from Mohare hill station and then overnight at community management lodge.

Day 6: Mohara Danda – Ghorepani – 3 hours walk (2860m) (B/L/D)
Wake up early morning for a view of sunrise and crystal clear mountain ranges, then we take our breakfast and trek towards Ghorepani through hill ridge catching poon hill (3210m) and reach to Ghorepani. Stay overnight at a tea house.

Day 7: Ghorepani to Hiley trek (1495m) trek 5-6 hrs (B/L/D)
After a short hike along the banks of the Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti (1,015m) a large village with several shops and teahouses. From here, the trail continues through the village and follows the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola. Our trail then climbs progressively up the side of the valley to Hiley

Day 8: Trek to Nayapul (820m) and drive to Pokhara – 4-5 hrs (B)
After breakfast, trek to Nayapul and then it’s an hour drive which will take us back to serene Pokhara. Check into the hotel and refreshment.

Day 9: Pokhara – Kathmandu (B)
After Breakfast drives back to Kathmandu for around 6-7 hours. Check in hotel. Rest of the day is free for rest and refreshment in the hotel. The evening takes your own time for last minute shopping and scrolling around the touristic places.

Day 10: Departure (B)
Approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight a representative from Aarya Village Travel will transfer you to the airport for final departure to your home country.
