For Sarala, it all started with a simple graduated thesis on "Impact of Eco-Tourism in Nepalese community "where she learned the underlying effect of tourism on the environment and the people.
Since then, for the past 15 years, she has been operating, traveling, and developing sustainable travel programs with a vision to conserve the pristine environment of Nepal and economically benefit marginalized local people. Aarya Village Travel under her leadership has been honored by "Travel Life Partnership" and "Local Hero Award" by Evaneos.
Most of the time you will find Sudarshan in the far - reaching locations of Nepal, Tibet with clients. An avid trekker and mountain guide, he has trekked through mountainous region of Annapurna, Langtang, Mustang, Manaslu, Kanchejungha, and Dhaulagiri. He has also scaled mountain peaks such as Island peak, Mera peak, Lobuche peak, Chulu peak etc.
Through decades of travelling, Sudarshan has gathered deep knowledge of places he has been to. During his trip, he observed the devastating effect of an unsustainable tourism which made him a sustainable tourism advocate. Sudarshan ensure a smooth operation of every travel itinerary, health and safety of clients and provide clients practical support throughout their trip.
Aryan's nurturing with natural and cultural beauty of outskirt town nearby Kathmandu ignited his passion for travel adventure at a very young age. This drew him to graduate in Bachelor of Travel & Tourism Management (BTTM) as well as Master of Hospitality Management (MHM) from Tribhuvan University.
It was in 2018 when he started as an intern at Aarya Village Travel. Since then, he has mastered his skill on designing and consulting travel packages as per client's preferences. Still an abide adventurous, his travel passion takes him on everything Nepal has to offer i.e. white river rafting, paragliding, zip flyer, rock climbing, mountain biking, trekking, canoeing, kayaking and many more.
Srijana started her early quest in hospitality industry in 2012 with an aspiration to be an independent, empowered women in travel industry. This is reflected on her profession as she strives for an excellence customer service while formulating distinctive travel itineraries and creating valuable memories for her clients. She enjoys consulting people on what to expect during travel period and help them prepare for their trip. An outgoing travel enthusiastic, Srijana possess a wealth of experience in the travel industry.
Over the span of 8 years, Prateek has evolved from a tourism graduate to a sustainable travel consultant. He has honed the craft of creating customized tour packages of Nepal within the premises of sustainable tourism practices. He believes that every travel experience should create lasting memories for travelers, host community and environment.
He holds a Masters's of tourism management from the University of Tribhuvan, where he focused on tourism impact on indigenous people in protected areas. A strong advocate and believer in sustainable tourism for a better future; Prateek has published journal articles on responsible tourism, and protected areas.
Originally from Janakpur, a small town located in the southern plain of Nepal, Sufal went through a lot of hardship while shifting to the capital city Kathmandu. Initially, for a career, he tried everything the capital had to offer. During his traveling day as a hobby, Sufal noticed that every place has a story of interest. This kept him traveling and exploring the remote places of Nepal. His passion extends to designing custom group trips creating a seamless, unique, and unforgettable experience. He believes that Travel expands the dimension of one's mind through experience. Sufal is our fluent German-speaking consultant, he holds language certification of B2 level from Goethe Zentrum.
Fabrizio's (Fabri) passion to immerse in a different culture took him to countries near and far from his birth country Italy. His keenness to learn about Yoga, Sanskrit, and Ayurveda brought him to India where he stayed for 5 years. It was an ancient spiritual heritage, pristine environment, divergent culture, and the Himalayas of Nepal where Fabri found his home. Here he teamed up with the founders of Aarya Village Travel, Sarala Sapkota, and Binod Adhikari, and started to collaborate on showcasing the beauty of Nepal to European travelers. With experience spanning over 14 years as a travel consultant, Fabri possesses a wealth of travel knowledge and knows exactly how to make your vacation a remarkable one.
Bibek Sapkota embarked on his journey after graduating from high school in 2020, specializing in the management field. Presently, he holds the position of Financial Officer at Aarya Village Travel while concurrently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) degree at Supreme College, now in his third year of studies.
In his leisure time, Bibek indulges in football and satisfies his curiosity for new places by embarking on exploratory journeys.
Sujan is the youngest member of Aarya Village Travel. Born in the Sarlahi district, he joined Aarya in January 2018 as a vehicle driver in the operational department. Excelling behind the wheel, Sujan provides excellent service, ensures comfortable trips, and prioritizes the safety of clients. With each journey, he aims to be helpful, respectful, flexible, punctual, and knowledgeable. Transitioning from a vehicle driver, he now holds the position of Fleet Incharge at Aarya Travel, where he manages all transportation-related work at his young age. In addition to his work at Aarya Village Travel, Sujan is also pursuing his bachelor's degree.
Bijay, hailing from the Kavre district, joined Aarya in January 2020 as a skilled vehicle driver in the operational department. He excels in his role, consistently delivering exceptional service, ensuring comfortable trips, and prioritizing the safety of our valued clients. With each journey, Bijay demonstrates a strong commitment to being helpful, respectful, flexible, punctual, and knowledgeable. He currently works as the Assistance Fleet Incharge and manage all transportation-related tasks in the absence of Fleet Incharge.
Nirjal graduated with a Master's in Business Administration from Bangalore University, India. Over the years, Nirjal has built up an exemplary reputation of being an excellent tour guide in Nepal. His profound knowledge and passion for Hinduism & Buddhism philosophy, folklores, heritage sites, local foods, culture, festivals, and its people will be a highlight of your experience. When he's not on the sightseeing tours, you will either find Nirjal in the kitchen cooking traditional Nepalese cuisine or experimenting with adding new flavors to it. His amicable personality makes him a real treasure to have on the tour, and he always ensures that guest forms a deep connection and appreciation of the places they visit. Our guests love his sense of humor and describe him as "The one with an everlasting smile."
A natural inclination towards art, architecture, landscape, and history of Nepal provided Bijaya grounds to endeavor in the tourism field from a very young age. Prior to graduating in Tourism Management in 2012; Bijaya received his trekking guide license in 2010 and proceeded to receive a tour guide license in 2016. Since then, he has guided tours and trekking for private groups throughout Nepal including parts of China, Tibet, and India.
