Hindu wedding is one of the most important events of life when a man and woman wanted to take their relationship to the next level. According to Hindu religion, It is believed that marriages are made in heaven for life long companionship.Hindu weddings itself is not only a wedding but the combination of rich mutlticultural rituals and religious process and unforgettable experience in life. Hindu marriages are performed in accordance with the Vedas. Vedas are thousands of years old Holy Scriptures of Hindu Religion that is considered to own the essence of Hinduism.it is literally so in the Hindu system because of the belief that all major events of life are influenced by heavenly bodies; that is, by the stars, planets, moons and so on. Strict adherence to astrological and ritual aspects of the Vedas, holy scriptures dating back 5,000 years or more, stands proof to this belief system.
Day 1: Kathmandu - 1300m altitude
Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu and meet, assist and transfer to the hotel with our representative. Welcome drinks on arrival and briefing of tour program by one of the representative from Aarya Village Travel
Day 2: Wedding Preparation day (B)
Today bride and bridegroom can spend their day to see the wedding venue , trial their wedding dresses , shopping for their wedding essentials, etc.
Day 3: Wedding ceremony (B)
Today after breakfast we will take a bride to the professional makeup stuido to wear a bridal makeup and traditional bridal dress so noone can easily believe she is Non-Nepalese. We also provide bridegroom a private time to wear tradiitonal wedding suit. Then bride will be taken to the wedding venue seperately in a decorated wedding car. Then our priest will take a lead to perform the ceromny. One of the prominent features of Hindu weddings is, the ceremony is held in the open, under a canopy known as a “mandap” with a sacred fire in the center and the bride and bridegroom walk around it seven times. Hindu marriages in Nepal are often arranged with the assistance of a priest, who analyses the horoscopes of the couple to ensure that they are compatible.After couple of hours the ceromony will finish and we will celebrate this big day with our team along with bride and bridegroom.
Day 4: Kathmandu – Pokhara for honeymoon- 900m altitude (B)
From today our newly weds couple honeymoon trip starts. After Breakfast drive to Pokhara. It is around 6-7 hours drive from Kathmandu (depends on traffic). Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty, situated at an altitude of 900m from the sea level and 200km west of Kathmandu valley. The enchanting town has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambience of peace and magic. Check in hotel. Evening enjoy walking along the bank of Phewa Lake, admiring the stunning reflection of the Fish Tail Peak in the blue Phewa Lake waters.
Day 5: Pokhara Sightseeing (B)
Early in the morning excursion to Sarangkot hill for sunrise and closer Mountain View. Sarangkot is the most popular viewpoint in Pokhara. Situated at an altitude of 1,592m, Sarangkot offers the magnificent view of Sunrise over Mt. Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Massif (weather permitting). After enjoying the beauty of nature, return to hotel for breakfast
After Breakfast start half day sightseeing at Bindhyabasini Temple dedicated to Goddess, Bhagawati, and another manifestation of Shati, Gupteshwor Cave- popular for the different natural forms made from limestone deposits and Devi’s Fall which comes to its gushing best just before disappearing underground.Later you will have one hour boating in Phewa Lake and visit Barahi Temple in the middle of lake
Day 6: Pokhara – Chitwan (B, L, D)
After breakfast, drive to Chitwan for around 5-6 hours (depends on traffic). All the way you will descend down along the winding road on the banks of the Trishuli River. After checking in to the hotel and getting refreshed you will be briefed about full nature programs by our naturalist guide. Then we head on for activities. There will be a guided village walk and a walk on the banks of the Rapti River to watch the charming sunset views in the sub-tropical jungle. In the evening enjoy cultural program by ethnic tribal people with their stick dance and tribal drums.
Day 7: Chitwan (B, L, D)
Wakeup call with cup of hot tea/coffee. After breakfast on your choice visit to the elephant breading center to see baby elephants with bird watching in river bank, go for Canoe ride along the Rapti River. An excellent opportunity for bird watching and for seeing the 2 rare species of crocodiles; the Marsh Mugger and the only fish eating Gharial then you will be taken to real nature walk with different type’s vegetation to see many different types of floras and faunas. Before lunch you can take a leisurely relax little while. After lunch go for jeep safari, an excellent opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, monkeys, leopard, sloth bear, and the Royal Bengal Tiger. You will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Chitwan their home. Evening Slide presentation: One of our jungle experts will introduce background data and history of the Chitwan National Park as well as some other topics relating to wildlife. Overnight at Chitwan.
Day 8: Chitwan – Kathmandu (B)
Wake up call with hot Coffee/tea. After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu for around 5-6 hours (depends on traffic). Check in hotel. You will offer for the rest and refreshment in hotel. Evening you can scroll and shopping around the city on your own
Day 9: Kathmandu Sightseeing and Departure (B)
After Breakfast start full day sightseeing in UNESCO heritage sites. Sightseeing at Bouddhanath- World biggest stupa, one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage where all devout Buddhists come for a pilgrimage, Pashupatinath Temple is a famous, sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Pashupatinath is located on the banks of the Bagmati River. This "extensive Hindu temple precinct" is a "sprawling collection of temples, ashrams, images and inscriptions raised over the centuries and Patan Durbar Square- which is a distinct place for arts and architecture that reflect on each temple, monument and palace building that were mostly built during the Malla period between 16th, 17th and 18th
Approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight a representative from Aarya Village Travel will transfer you to the airport for final departure to your home country.
