Detail Itinerary

1Day 1 - Arrival at Kathmandu: 1400m altitude

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu, one of our representatives shall meet, assist and transfer you to the hotel. As you enjoy welcome drinks, our representative will brief you about upcoming programs. The rest of the day will be at your leisure.

2Day 2 - UNESCO Heritage sightseeing tour

We will embark on a sightseeing tour of UNESCO Heritage sites, starting with a unique experience at Patan Durbar Square. Here, the splendid architecture from the Malla period will unfold before us. Then, we will explore Boudhanath, the largest stupa in the valley, encircled by monasteries. Take in the spiritual atmosphere and marvel at the architectural wonders that surround us. To add to the cultural richness, we will also visit Pashupatinath, a sacred Hindu temple complex, witnessing the cultural and religious significance of this historic site.

3Day 3 - Drive to Chisapani / Evening walk to water reservoir

After enjoying breakfast, we will embark on a drive towards Shivapuri National Park. The journey itself promises to be a wonderful experience as it guides us through the dense and lush forests of the Kathmandu Valley. Along the route, we will have the opportunity to witness small streams meandering through the landscape. Upon reaching the resort, take some time to rest. In the evening, we will partake in a short walk towards an artificial water reservoir. The atmosphere is serene, accompanied by the gentle rustling of leaves and the melodic chirping of birds

4Day 4 - Hike to Lakhuri Bhanjyang

Awake to the enchanting sound of birds as the sun rises over the Himalayan peaks. Following a delicious breakfast, we will embark on a hike towards Lakhuri Banjyang. Throughout the hike, we will have the opportunity to observe various species of birds while enjoying panoramic views of the Himalayan range in eastern Nepal. Following the hike, we will drive back to Kathmandu. The evening is designated for rest and relaxation.

5Day 5 - Fly to Nepalgunj / Drive to Bardia National Park

In the early morning, after breakfast, we will drive to domestic airport for a flight to Nepalgunj. Once we arrive in Nepalgunj, one of our representatives will meet you and drive towards Bardia National Park through lush green vegetation. After reaching the resort, rest for a while. Then, a naturalist guide will take you for a village tour to meet the indigenous Tharu people.

6Day 6 - Jungle safari: Tracking Bengal Tiger

Today, we will embark on the journey to track an elusive Bengal Tiger in the dense jungle of Bardia National Park. Guided by a local naturalist, there is a high probability of sighting this majestic animal in its natural habitat compared to other national parks. Along the way, savor the tranquility of the jungle—a quiet realm filled with the sounds of numerous birds. In the evening, return to your hotel where you can enjoy a Tharu cultural program.

7Day 7 - Jungle safari: Tracking Bengal Tiger

In case first day is not enough, we shall once again explore other parts of the jungle and encounter more wild animals, including the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger. Bardia National Park is home to wild elephant herds, crocodiles, and the rare Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros. Throughout our journey, we will continue to seek out a variety of birds along our path.

8Day 8 - Jungle safari: Tracking Bengal Tiger

We will dedicate one more day to tiger tracking. On this day, you will embark on an open-top jeep drive to another renowned tiger tracking site within the park. As you drive towards a watchtower known as the Balcony, you will have the opportunity to overlook the vast grasslands. There is a significant possibility of spotting a distant herd or a solitary tiger emerging from the tall grass for a drink at the river.

9Day 9 - Fly to Pokhara / Evening boating

After having breakfast today, we will drive to Nepalgunj airport for a flight to Pokhara. Upon arrival in Pokhara, take a brief rest. In the evening, we will embark on a relaxing boat ride on Phewa Lake, enjoying the view of the sun setting on the horizon. The water takes on a golden hue during this serene time.

10Day 10 - Drive to Astam

Today, after breakfast, we will drive to Astam village. On this beautiful evening, from the Astam ridge, we will have the opportunity to witness a 360-degree panoramic view of the Annapurna mountain range (weather permitting). Tonight, we will stay in an eco-lodge run by a local family. (For those interested, there is a hiking option from Hemja to Astam, taking approximately 3-4 hours to walk).

11Day 11 - Village tour in Astam

The day is free for relaxation, offering you an opportunity to stroll around the village premises, engage with local residents, and witness the agricultural practices within the community. Sit back and enjoy the majestic view of the mighty Annapurna range.

12Day 12 - Fly to Kathmandu

Savor a final moment at the foothills of Pokhara. Afterward, we will take a flight to Kathmandu. Take a day to rest and rejuvenate, allowing yourself to unwind at your leisure or indulge in some shopping. Enjoy personal relaxation time or explore local markets for unique finds.
