Day 1: Kathmandu - 1300m altitude
Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu and meet, assist and transfer to the hotel with our representative. Welcome drinks on arrival and briefing of tour program by one of our representative from the company.

Day 2: Visit Buddhist Pilgrimage sites in Kathmandu Valley (B)

  1. Bouddhanath- Hi Tea ceremony at Monastery:
    The 5th century stupa is one of the biggest in the world and is ringed by Buddhist lamas and monasteries. This is a very holy stupa for Tibetan Buddhists who come here in thousands in winter festival to pay their tribute
    We also participate in Hi Tea Buddhist Ceremony in one of the monastery in Boudha where monks perform their ritual, chanting Buddhist mantras and pray for our good health and prosperity. At the end of the ceremony, monks offer blessing food and Hi Tea for all

  2. Swayambhunath:
    The hill lock towards the northwest of Kathmandu, Swyambhunath is the spiritual place well known as monkey temple. This is a 2500 years old stupa situated on a hillock about 77 m above the ground level and over looking Katmandu valley. The painted eyes on four sides represent the all seeing eyes of Buddha and are watching all the time wrong doers and good doers. This is a very religious shrine of Buddhists. There are two Buddhist monasteries within the complex and a temple of Haratima where both Buddhists and Hindus worship this temple.

Day 3: Fly to Lumbini: The Birth Place of Lord Buddha (B)
After Breakfast fly to Bhairahawa airport and take an hour drive to Lumbini. Lumbini is the most important Buddhist pilgrimage site - the place where Buddha was born.

We devote today's time in visiting as many places and sites in Lumbini as possible. The place is really a big area with monuments, temples, and ancients sites making it UNESCO World Heritage Site. First we visit the Mayadevi temple which is built on the exact place where Buddha was born. We spend some time wandering around the gardens. We also visit the museum and peace pagoda. Visit newly built many Buddhist temples by different nation: - Tibetan, Chinese, Japanese and Burmese, Korean, etc.  Monasteries like: - Chinese Monastery, Korean Monastery, Royal Thai Monastery, Ashoka Pillar, Myanmar Monastery.

Day 4: Day trip to Tilaurakot/Kapilvastu (B)
Today we spend whole day at Tilaurakot. Located in the Kapilvastu District, the village of Tilaurakot is most likely best known for being the site of the Tilaurakot ruins. It is believed the ruins are the remains of a stronghold of the Kapilvastu/Shakya Kingdom, established by Siddhartha Guatam Buddha’s father, Suddhodana. Excavations carried out in the year 2000 revealed that the fortress which had once stood there had been of considerable size, having a number of smaller buildings within its walls. A nearby museum displays some of the items discovered, many of which date back as far as the seventh century BC

Day 5: Fly back to Kathmandu: Drive to Namobuddha- Buddhist Chanting at Monastery & blessing by monks (B)
After Breakfast fly back to Kathmandu. Our guide will escort you to drive to Namobuddha: a sacred Buddhist sites. You’ll also surprised by the number of temples, variation in landscapes and diversity of people living in harmony.

Visit monastery where you can meet the monks and involve in daily Buddhist chanting perform by monks. The place is very quiet and pure. Its environment is very clean, with no pollution, and the natural air is so fresh, cool and healthy. It is also the right place for meditation and practice.

Day 6: Explore Namobuddha and surrounding temples: Drive back to Kathmandu (B)
Today we will have short trip to Namobuddha stupa and surrounding. Along with Bodhnath and Swayambhunath, the Namobuddha Stupa is one of the three most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Nepal, attracting large numbers of Tibetans from Nepal, India and Tibet itself. Drive back to Kathmandu and refreshment in hotel

Day 7: Yoga and Meditation Session: Day Trip (B)
It is one full day program, where we do 5 hrs hiking to Nagarjuna Hills Buddhist cave. Morning Yoga and breakfast at the Osho Divine Zone and moving to Nagarjuna Forest for the Hiking. It is famous National park forest in the Kathmandu valley. 3 hrs going up and two hrs to return. It is one of the short and sweet hiking for the nature lover where lots of birds and wild animals can be seen and at the top of the forest we can see beautiful panorama of Mountains.

Day 8: Departure (B)
Approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight a representative from Aarya Village Travel will transfer you to the airport for final departure to your home country.
