Detail Itinerary

1Day 1 - Arrival at Kathmandu: 1400m altitude: 30 minutes drive to Hotel

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu, one of our representatives from Aarya Village Travel shall meet, assist and transfer you to your hotel. You will enjoy welcome drinks while you will be briefed about your Annapurna Base Camp Trek in Nepal program. The rest of the day will be at your leisure.

2Day 2 - Kathmandu- Pokhara: 900 m altitude: 210 km & approx. 6-7 hours drive (B)

Your Annapurna Trek program starts after having Breakfast and driving to Pokhara, a 6-7 hours drive from Kathmandu (depending on traffic). Located 210 km west of Kathmandu, this beautiful lakeside city is a prime tourism destination in Nepal offering with spellbinding and hypnotic natural beauty, stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. The drive on the way itself is going to be amazingly unique experience as you travel besides the mighty river with some strong current almost throughout your journey with scenic greenery on both sides of the road along with human settlements thick and thin at different places. As you reach there you check in to your hotel, get yourself refreshed and have some rest. During the evening you might enjoy walking along the bank of Phewa Lake, admiring the stunning reflection of the Fish Tail Peak over the bluish Phewa Lake water.

3Day 3 - Drive to Nayapool, Trek to Ghandruk (1940m): 1 hr drive, 5 - 6 hours trek (B, L, D)

Right after breakfast, along with our experienced guide will accompany on a drive to Nayapool which is at 45km and takes 1 and ½ hours. Nayapool is the starting point of our Annapurna Base Camp Trek. This is a place where people come to experience, the pure experience of hiking in Nepal. The trek is among the shortest Trek in Nepal with a total distance of 8.6 km and it may take us approximately 5 hours from Nayapool via Birethanti, Chimrung, Syauli bazar, Kimche, Chane along terraced rice fields. Ghandruk village is situated at an altitude of 1940 meters in Kaski District Nepal.

4Day 4 - Ghandruk to Chhomrong (2170m): 5 - 6 hours (B, L, D)

At this juncture, we climb up for around an hour up to Kimrung danda. On the way there, we can enjoy great views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Fishtail Mountain (Machhapuchhre) and Ganggapurna. A steep descent takes us to the Kimrong Khola. After another steep ascent from Kimrong Khola to Chere Danda, we descend for a while and then it's a gentle walk to Chhomrong. Chhomrong, a beautiful village located on the just below the giant Annapurna massive.

5Day 5 - Chhomrong to Bamboo (2310m): 4 - 5 hours (B, L, D)

We descend 2500 stone steps and cross the Chhomrong Khola (river). From here, it is an uphill climb to Sinuwa. From there onwards, we pass through a beautiful forest to Kuldihar followed by an easy downhill walk to Bamboo.

6Day 6 - Bamboo to Deurali (3230m): 3 - 4 hours (B, L, D)

Today we pass through a shady, cool and moist bamboo forest and then ascend steadily with a few steep sections. Upon reaching Himalaya Hotel the forest clears and we are out in the sun again with amazing views of the glacial river below. It is a steep climb up through a much drier forest before reaching Hinku Cave. From here the Annapurna trek drops closer to the river before rising again to Deurali, the most scenic stretch of the day. The vegetation here is sparser, permitting charming views of the valley, the river below, and the sheer rock-face cliffs above with bands of wispy waterfalls. We stay overnight at Deurali.

7Day 7 - Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m): 5- 6 hours (B, L, D)

Today we climb gently through a river bed then over a steep trail over to the mountain side. The hike from Bagar to Machhapuchhre Base Camp is slightly strenuous. From Machhapuchhre base camp we get excellent views of the majestic Machhapuchhre along with Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli and Gangapurna a genuinely rewarding experience. The vegetation vanishes on our way to Annapurna Base Camp and the path widens as we reach the Annapurna sanctuary. From here, we get sensational views of the near-vertical south face of Annapurna towering above us. The sanctuary boasts dynamic views without anything obstructing the 360-degree panorama. From the base camp we again get to savor mesmerizing views of the Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli and other peaks. Overnight at Annapurna Base Camp

8Day 8 - Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo: 7 - 8 hours (B, L, D)

From the Annapurna base camp we trek downhill to Bamboo, so it shouldn't be very difficult. Besides, we will always have the company of the extraordinary landscape to cheer us up. Overnight in Bamboo

9Day 9 - Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1760m): 5 - 6 hours (B, L, D)

From Bamboo, it is an uphill trek to Kuldighar followed by a downhill walk to Chhomrong Khola. Then we climb the stone steps to Chhomrong. The trail then descends to Jhinu Danda, where rest for the night. Today we will have an opportunity to enjoy the hot springs which is just a 15-20 minute downhill walk from Jhinu Danda to soothe our aching body.

10Day 10 - Trek to Nayapool then drive to Pokhara: 6 hours trek, 1 hour drive (B, L)

On last day of Annapurna Trek, we trek down to Nayapool from Jhinu Danda, we get to enjoy the amazing hill landscape of western Nepal. We have lunch on the way. Our trek will end at Nayapool where we board our vehicle to Pokhara.

11Day 11 - Pokhara- Kathmandu, approx. 210 km & 6-7 hrs drive, Farewell dinner with live cultural show (B, D)

On this day right after breakfast we drive back to Kathmandu via the same route, it will take us around 6 to7 hours depending on traffic. On reaching the capital city, you may check into the hotel, get yourself refreshed and take a rest for a while after the long drive.

During the evening, you will be taken to an authentic Nepali restaurant for Typical Nepali Dinner along with live cultural show by different ethnic groups. It may last for 3 hours. Thus concluding your memorable Annapurna Base Camp Trek in Nepal.
