Enjoy breathtaking views of the Phobjikha Valley along the way. Next, explore the golden Punakha Valley. A short drive past the local market at Minsena brings you to Punakha Dzong, the Palace of Great Bliss. Marvel at its intricate carvings and sculptures, and admire the impressive architecture of this historic fortress, beautifully situated between the Pho Chhu (Male River) and Mo Chhu (Female River).

Don't miss the 160-meter Pho Chhu Suspension Bridge near Punakha Dzong. This is Bhutan's longest pedestrian suspension bridge, offering a refreshing walk with colorful prayer flags fluttering in the breeze. After breakfast, we will embark on a hike to Tiger's Nest, also known as Paro Taktsang. This iconic monastery, perched on a cliffside 3,000 feet above the Paro Valley in Bhutan, is a sacred site and a marvel of architecture. Legend has it that Guru Rinpoche, who introduced Buddhism to Bhutan, flew to this location on the back of a tigress. The hike offers stunning views and a glimpse into Bhutanese spirituality, making it a memorable part of the journey.

8Day 8 - Depart Paro
