Detail Itinerary
One of our representatives will warmly welcome you upon your arrival. You will then be escorted to your hotel in our private tourist vehicle. During a pre-trip meeting, you will have the opportunity to meet our trip guide and address any questions or concerns you may have regarding the trip.
Embark on a scenic 5-6 hour drive to Bandipur, a charming Newar Cultural Village in Nepal. Bandipur boasts a rich blend of history, architecture, and breathtaking landscapes. Admire stunning views of Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Langtang, Manaslu, and Ganesh Himal from Tundikhel (If weather permits). In the evening, enjoy leisurely walks amidst beautiful vistas, engaging in friendly chats with locals and experiencing their simple way of life. Morning after breakfast, explore Nepal's vast Siddha Cave and marvel at stalactite formations. Furthermore, Bandipur hosts diverse bird species. Birdwatchers can explore surrounding forests and spot colorful Himalayan birds.
In the morning, explore Bandipur briefly before driving to Pokhara, a picturesque lakeside city located 210 km west of Kathmandu. The journey offers a unique experience alongside a mighty river with lush greenery and scattered human settlements. Upon arrival in Pokhara, check into your hotel, refresh, and rest. Later, visit Devi’s Fall, a captivating waterfall flowing into a deep canal, and Gupteshwor Cave, one of Nepal's longest caves. Enjoy an hour of boating at Phewa Lake, visiting Tal Barahi Temple situated on an island in the lake. This Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Durga adds a spiritual touch to your scenic boating experience.
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, we'll pick you up and embark on a scenic drive to Kalopani. Following the main road westward, our journey leads us to the charming city of Beni. As we leave Beni behind, the real adventure begins with a mix of off-road and paved roads towards Kalopani. Along the way, we'll make a stop for a delightful lunch and take a refreshing break to visit the mesmerizing Rupche waterfall. Cascading down amidst lush greenery, the Rupche waterfall promises to be a highlight of our journey, offering a serene backdrop for relaxation and photography. Encounter enchanting landscapes as we head towards Kalopani on our captivating journey through nature.
Our journey commences with a scenic walk along the Annapurna Circuit Trail towards Marpha village. Traversing the eastern side of the Kaligandaki River, we venture through the picturesque Larjung settlement. Our path then leads us to Tukuche, a historic Thakali settlement nestled at an elevation of 2590 meters, where we'll pause for a delightful lunch. Continuing onward, we'll trek to Marpha at 2665 meters, passing through notable landmarks such as a Tibetan refugee village, vibrant apple farms dotting the landscape, and ancient Tibetan settlements steeped in medieval charm. Enchantment awaits amidst cultural richness and breathtaking natural vistas.
After breakfast, drive to Syang village, crossing the Kali Gandaki suspension bridge. Embark on a brief hike to a Tibetan Buddhist monastery, immersing in the monastic life of monks. Enjoy serenity at Dumba Lake before proceeding to Thini village, exploring the local lifestyle of ethnic Thakali people. Continuing our journey, we hike towards Kagbeni village. Passing through Jomsom, a bustling community with various amenities, we trek to Ekley-bhatti and then to Kagbeni, situated at the confluence of Jhong Khola and Kali Gandaki. Kagbeni, an ancient settlement on the Trans-Himalayan salt trade route to Tibet, offers a glimpse into its rich history and culture.
After breakfast, we drive to Khingga village, proceeding along a scenic route to Muktinath temple. En route, we explore Tibetan settlements like Jarkot and Jhong villages, reminiscent of traditional Tibetan dwellings. Ascending steep slopes, we're greeted by breathtaking vistas of snow-capped peaks. This journey blends physical exploration with spiritual immersion, culminating at the sacred grounds of Muktinath temple, a revered site for Hindus and Buddhists, where pilgrims seek blessings and enlightenment amidst the pristine mountain air. One can take a spiritual bath at 108 spouts.
After breakfast, we begin our journey to Lupra. The journey is uphill and downhill reaching up to an altitude of 3,900 m. After 3 hours walk we will reach Lupra village. Then we hike for another hour to our vehicle station that will be waiting for us for the 4 hour further drive to Tatopani. Tatopani, which means "hot water," is a hot spring on the river's banks. Make a brief stop here for a natural hot bath. We spend the night at Tatopani.
On day 9, embark on a scenic 5-hour drive from Tatopani to Pokhara, where every moment is tailored to ensure your comfort and enjoyment. As we bid farewell to Tatopani's rejuvenating hot springs, our journey unfolds amidst stunning vistas and charming villages. Along the way, indulge in occasional stops to stretch your legs, savor local delicacies, and capture breathtaking snapshots of the Himalayan landscape. As we approach Pokhara immerse yourself in the lively ambiance of Lakeside, where charming cafes, restaurants, and shops beckon with their enticing offerings. Indulge in a lakeside dinner, accompanied by traditional music performances.
The journey starts with a 5-6 hour drive leading us to the captivating destination of Chitwan. Upon arrival, indulge in a warm welcome with refreshing refreshments, providing a perfect opportunity to unwind and settle in. Delve deeper into the rich tapestry of Nepali culture with an enlightening village tour, immersing yourself in the traditions and lifestyle of the Indigenous Tharu people. As dusk descends, prepare for an enriching evening with our knowledgeable naturalist guide, who will unravel the secrets of Chitwan National Park's diverse flora and fauna. Evening enlight your dinner with tharu dance show.
Awaken to the melodic chirping of birds in Chitwan National Park. Today, we will embark on a jungle adventure led by a seasoned local naturalist, tracking the majestic one-horned rhino. With luck, we may catch a glimpse of the elusive Bengal tiger amidst the lush foliage. Glide along the serene Rapti River, immersing ourselves in the tranquility and observing exotic aquatic species, all against the backdrop of the Himalayan foothills. As evening descends, we can delight in an enchanting ethnic dance performance by the Tharu people, celebrating their vibrant culture and traditions.
Savor a last-morning moment in the wilds of the park. After breakfast, we will drive approximately 5-6 hours back to the lively capital Kathmandu. Throughout the drive traverse steep moraines and lush forests lining the shimmering Trishuli River, offering breathtaking vistas along the journey. Upon arriving in Kathmandu, the rest of the evening will be free for leisure.
As our thrilling Himalayan safari in the Annapurna Region comes to an end, Today we conclude our 13 days journey. Our representative will be there to escort you to the International Airport for your return flight.
