Wonderful company From start to finish they were amazing! We were originally supposed to go in May 2020 but of course the pandemic disrupted those plans. Aarya village travel honoured our deposit when we were able to travel 4 years later. Their commitment to sustainability and the people in villages is a real strength of their business. Prateek was an excellent person to work with when planning the Manaslu trek and our guide, Bijaya, was fantastic - smart, personable, calm, and funny. The porters were a welcome addition to our group and were equally friendly and fun on the trail and when playing cards in the evenings 🙂. I booked an 11 day round trip, a little bit hiking, and more cultural program. The accomodation was always good, often very good. I had one driver during the complete tour. Many thanks to Bijaya, I always felt very safe and comfortable! At the different places the guides changed, and they all where very good, but my special thanks to Bidur, who guided me to the Australian camp. And a great thank you to Rabina, she made the impossible to possible. I got very interesting information concerning history and actual live in Nepal. In addition she knows where to buy high quality Souvenirs.

Holiday of a lifetime. I went on a tour to Nepal recently with my wife. We have selected Arya Village Travel Pvt. Ltd. as our tour operator. We are very happy that Bijaya was our guide on trek. His overall skills particular decision making in crucial time was highly commendable. 

Everythings, it has been perfect. The road trek was really nice, infact I enjoyed alot. The road was not so heavy and the people of Langtang is amazing. The first day during the sightseeing was beautiful. The guide was kindly and patient to explain me about the history of Nepal.

About Sudip (trekking guide) ... what can I say? It was perfect to have him as a guide. Always explaining about all the mountains, talking to me everytime , he really takecare of me. He is the best guide I could have here, for sure the nice experience it is and also thanks to him.

About the different tea house during Langtang trek:

- Most of them where nice and people were so kindly, also so clean places and good food.

- Just say about Laurebina which is still under construction and was less nice because of the maintainence

Wir besuchten Namobuddha und die liebenswerten Mönchen , hatten eine sehr nette, authentische Unterkunft im homestay, besuchten die Städte Panauti, Bhaktapur, Bandipur, Pokhara und Kathmandu. Und hatten eine wunderschöne Trekkingtour ,5 Tagen, zum Poon Hill bei herrlichem Sonnenschein und klarer Sicht auf die umliegenden Berge. Mein persönliches Highlight war der Aufstieg zum Poon Hill mit Bijaya, unserem Guide. Die Städte waren sehr beeindruckend und müssen unbedingt nochmals von uns besichtigt werden. Es gab so viel zu sehen. Wir waren überwältigt von der Freundlichkeit der Menschen auf der gesamten Tour. This was my first ever package purchase and I am so glad I went with Aarya Village Travel. the fact that they even picked up the phone at the initial call was a surprise and from there it got better. They maintained communication prior, picked me up from the airport on time, booked some fantastic hotels and generally allowed me to have nothing but positive memories of Nepal. Land und Leute insgesamt waren grossartig, aber gerade bei den Übernachtungen im Homestay bekommt man einen viel besseren Einblick in das alltägliche Leben in Nepal. Ebenfalls wunderbar war die Wanderung von Namobuddha nach Balthali, tolle Aussicht und wunderbare Landschaft. Die Reise war perfekt organisiert, meine Wünsche nach einer bunten Mischung aus Wandern, Yoga, Kultur, Sightseeing und Abenteuer wurden vollkommen erfüllt. Auch der Ablauf der Reise war optimal, Entspannung und Aktivitäten haben sich perfekt ergänzt. Die Guides vor Ort waren alle ganz wunderbar, fundiertes Wissen, entspannte Umgangsweise und viele Tipps haben die Reise besonders angenehm gemacht - ich habe mich während der ganzen Reise sehr sicher und wohlgefühlt!

In den Städten haben wir viel über die Kultur und Religionen in Nepal erfahren, in Kathmandu hätten wir uns etwas mehr Zeit für die Besichtigungen gewünscht.Unsere 2 Tages Wanderung nach Namobudda war eine gute Gelegenheit zum Einlaufen und wieder Ruhe finden nach Kathmandu.Unsere Transfers nach Pokhara , Chitwan und Kathmandu fanden alle mit dem Auto statt, im Nachhinein würden wir eine Strecke mit dem Flugzeug absolvieren, weniger aus Zeitgründen sondern mehr aus Sicherheitsgründen nach den oft sehr gefährlichen Autofahrten. Im Annapurnagebiet ist alles bestens gelaufen, wir waren ein tolles Team und wurden bestens betreut von unserem Guide in den Bergen. Nach den kalten Nächten während der Trekkingtour war der Chitwan NP wunderbar, auch die Unterkunft und Verpflegung waren dort besonders gut. Höhepunkt war die Elefantensafari.

Right from the moment I landed in Kathmandu Aarya Village Travel looked after everything. I was met by Sudarshan and taken to my hotel and later contacted to have a brief about the planned tour. I was part of a bigger bike group traveling to Muktinath on Royal Enfield Bullets.

The team from Aarya consisted of Sudarshan, Anup, Rajesh and Thule (spelling of Thule might be wrong). Each and every team member on the trip looked out for everything Anup is able to fix any mechanical issue I am sure, and Sudarshan was the perfect host.

Every single meal time and stopping time the team made sure that the group were fed and watered before themselves and made sure that no-one in the group wanted for anything.

It was quickly apparent how much fun the team had whilst doing their job, and they quickly became like friends to us. towards the end we sang and danced together and had the most magical experience. All the way through the tour and each day the team made each journey fun for everyone, and offered many stories and information about Nepal.

I had the honour of extending my stay in Nepal and Aarya Village Travel managed to alter their schedule slightly to provide me with a private trek to the Langtang national park. Rajesh offered to be my guide and I spent the next 8 days with Rajesh climbing up to almost 5000m. As I mentioned before, this was awesome for me, as I felt I was doing this with a friend rather than a guide. Rajesh followed the same standard as the previous tour and looked out for my needs before his own. I had an awesome time explore Langtang national park including learning about the area and the effects of the recent earthquake there.

I come away from Nepal feeling much more understanding of the culture and history, as well as a place I can't wait to visit again, I will definitely be returning to Nepal and booking additional tours with Aarya Village Travel. It is one thing to go on vacation and spend time with a good tour company, but what really sets Aarya Village apart is that you are not just going on vacation with a good tour company, you will honestly end up feeling as though you were on vacation with friends, and it will honestly be one of the memorable travelling experiences I have ever been on. Thanks to Aarya Village Travel, my visit to Nepal was wonderful! Aarya made me feel like Prince Siddharta on holiday! They made me a tailor made travel schedule for a very sharp price. The itinerary was 100% clear, detailed and transparent. In Nepal everything went according to plan. The hotels were good to very good, the drivers were in time, the guides were good to excellent and there was always someone available via WhatsApp (as if I was their only customer!).

I would highly recommend the Annapurna trekking as well as the paragliding in Pokhara. And in Kathmandu it was great to learn about the country (history, people, culture, religions, etc) from an extremely well educated guide, who spoke fluent English.

But the best of it all, was that Aarya really went the extra mile when I forgot my sunglasses in the line bus. Aarya got them back from the bus company and…. the director of Aarya sent the parcel to Amsterdam when he was in London for a conference, so that I didn’t have to pay the high price for DHL delivery from Nepal. All free of cost! Where do you find such a great service these days?!

I would love to come back for the Mount Everest trekking and since Aarya Travel offers many tailor made Nepali travels, I will surely book with them again. Aarya Village Travel = HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This trip to Nepal was very smooth, thanks to Aarya Village Travel's intimate arrangement. The hotels and the restaurants arranged were very satisfactory. In particular, travel agents Sarala is meticulous docking, as well as the Chinese guide Qiu Deli is really good! People are super patient, responsible! Natural World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu can not be missed. Although urban construction is not very good and particularly congested, the architectural beauty of the Bouddhanath and Patan Durbar Square is amazing. Although the birthplace of Buddha of Lumbini slightly simple, but after all, a Buddhist pilgrimage site. Small aircraft is the most exciting plane I've ever had.

It's my first time to visit Nepal, and Aarya Village Travel made it more memorable. Together with my friends, (we were 5 people), we've explored Kathmandu (including Nagarkot) and they are beautiful tourist spots. The hotel location was perfect. The entire arrangement was superb. As I promised you when we met in Kathmandu last week, I wrote this mail after I got home to report my impressions on my trip. I found your agency's organization always very timely and efficient. Even if i traveled alone I have never been in trouble or have to deal with unexpected problems. The guides have always been careful, kind and prepared. I really enjoyed the tour organization in all its parts, both city and village visits and hiking moments. It helped me to discover a country, Nepal, to me so far unknown, but where I hope to come back in the next years, still with the help of your agency.

My sister & I had a wonderful time during our stay in Nepal. Thank you Krija for all the arrangement of the trip; including Paragliding & Mountain Flight. All the guides - Rameela (Kathmandu), Krishna (Pokhara) and the other one who picked us from the Bus station in Kathmandu, Pokhara and the one who dropped us to airport for our Mountain Flight ware efficient, informative, helpful and friendly. And also I would like to commend all the drivers who drove us around. We had a wonderful time in your beautiful country. Had the best Paragliding & Mountain Flight. Hope to visit again in the near future.  

Thanks to Aarya travel who arranged my trip to mount Everest base camp. I had been pursuing with them from last two years but I had to cancel my trip couple of time due to unforeseen challenges. We had an amazing trip to Nepal recently,all thanks to Aarya Village Travel. The trip was very well organised and co-ordinated. Though we were not very lucky with the weather, but still our trip turn out to be awesome and fruitful. We were lucky to have Dhirendra Mishra as our guide, for he was not only knowledgeable, professional but also reliable and full of sense of humour which made our trip very enjoyable and lively. We went for the Everest Mountain Flight which turned out to be the highlight of this trip. We were so glad we went for it. There was no other way to get close to the series of world famous majestic mountains than the mountain flight. The panoramic view of Himalayan peaks and spectacular landscape and a thrilling magical excitement as one came face to face with the world tallest and most enigmatic of Himalayan. It was truly experience of the life time, something not to be missed and money well spent. Highly recommended if you visit Nepal. Yesterday was our final ride and it was epic, I must say. We started the day with about 3+ hours of switchbacks at a brisk pace and I do believe fun was be all, including our tour guides. We ended the day by riding into Kathmandu city, during rush hour and you really must experience that. Friends, that is an entirely different kind of technical riding, unlike anything in the "civilized" world. My beautiful wife even joined me for the first 4 hours and did not complain once - dare I say she enjoyed it. All told, we have approx 1,000 kms in the seats of these worthy mounts. Given the road conditions we encountered, I can safely say this is an accomplishment to be proud of. Other than chafed buttocks, no serious injuries were had. Our tour guides, ride-along mechanic and driver of the support truck and whole Aarya Village Travel Team could not have been more professional, accommodating and fun. I wanted to send you this email to tell you about our experience in Nepal and let you know how happy we are with everything, started from service provided by your agency till the general impression about your country. Although we spend only 5 days in Nepal, in this 5 days we had opportunity to see beautiful nature, friendly people, heritage and tradition of Nepal, but also the other side, little bit more sad, caused by earthquake, ruined houses, roads and people who stayed without their homes, situated in camps, till their houses doesn't become rebuild-ed. Also the very shocking was the traffic, which is totally chaotic. We were wondering how no one was hit by car or there were no any car accident. Drivers must be very good to avoid any accident, cause there were no rules on the roads, everyone were driving on their own way, all directions, something what we did not see anywhere else in the world. Besides all this, surprising, people were so peaceful, with smiles on their faces, relaxed, like nothing can ruined their inner peace and happiness inside their souls. This is also something what we didn't see anywhere else, this beautiful atmosphere on the streets, in basically pretty poor country, such a pleasant feeling being surrounded with so many smiling and friendly faces, despite all the troubles they occurred. With one word, such a extraordinary experience, which we would definitely like to repeat in the future. Especially we would like to thank to our amazing tour guide in Pokhara, Suraj Gurung and also to our guide in Kathmandu, Dhirendra Mishra, which were giving us such a comprehensive information about all sites we visited, in their very good English language, with a patience and understanding that English is not our native language and sometimes they needed to repeat some information for us to understand better. Just to shortly mention accommodation, hotel City Inn in Pokhara, and Tibet in Kathmandu, which were totally in range of 3 star hotel, very clean, with such a kind staff, willing to help in any time. I would like to thank you once again for well organization of our trip and be sure that we will suggest your agency to any of our friends who would plan to go to Nepal. Our tour was very educational. Guide was excellent !! He allowed us as much time as we needed, pointed out numerous local/cultural/religious details and has a very relaxed and friendly personality. Nepal, a new experience, a new world. We contacted with Aayra Village Travel and from the moment of the reservation, Sarala was polite, understanding, caring and professional at all moments. My advice is to tell her what kind of journey would you like, and just let her organize it all for you, you will not be disappointed. For us, we wanted a cultural-adventure honeymoon trip and she organized for us a trip around Katmandu with private driver and guide, Everest Mountain Flight (Don´t miss this one!) Safari in Chitwan National Park, and a overnight stay in a hotel Close to the Himalayas. The price is cheap for what you receive, friendliness of the guides, drives (I wish the driver spoked better English), Fast transfers in a crowded city, they invited us to cultural programs (traditional music dances) an a bunch of dinner (Delicious Nepali food, pd; ASK FOR MOMO). I really recommend to come to Nepal, get to know the culture and let Aayra Village travel guide you trough your journey. Travel date: 31st March to 6th April, 2015

I am back at work in Dubai, and I have told all my colleagues about the wonderful and organized trip that you planned. The timing of activities was perfect. We never felt rushed and yet we did/saw so much in the 4.5 days we were in Nepal. The accommodation were also so fabulous. I met Sarala and Binod during my work visit in summer 2011. We spent many evenings in Thamel, eating local food and tasting traditional drinks. They are really generous people and discussion with them were very interesting. They taught me so much about Nepal, in particular tourism and hiking. That was an amazing experience, in particular because Sarala provided me with valuable insider tips, on where to go and what places I should check out. Customer service excellent, superb attention to detail. We were given sim card in order to contact agent in case of any problems. Last minute changes not a problem. Tailor made to suit individuals, we did a lot in a short time! Lots of variety. Hotels were adequate, clean and safe. (We opted for budget and weren’t disappointed.) Pleased to be refunded cancelled flights at the time, in cash (dollars), no delay! Cost very reasonable! (No hidden extras!) Booking process of holiday very quick and straightforward. Disappointments Foggy weather resulted in cancelled internal flight from Chitwan. (unavoidable and money refunded) Also Everest flight had to be cancelled for same reason! Thanks to Aarya Village Travel for the trip on Saturday and Sunday on Nov 20th and 21st. I think all of the participants enjoyed this change in the daily routines. I was especially surprised by the professionalism by which the rafting is done. The guides are competent. Also the never ending commitment of them during the whole program was outstanding: they were cooking food took care of all logistics very professionally and they were really into team building. I think that everyone felt to have chosen the right raft. We had the best team in our raft. At one point I thought our raft dipped over deliberately in the "Landslide Rapid". Where this is not the case, I am still "happy" to have been in that boat and got the experience even though it was quite uncomfortable in the beginning. Indeed it was pleasure having your services for our trip to Jomsom. Overall the visit was fantastic. Day 1 The flight at Kathmandu was delayed for about one and half hours. This was tiring and boring. In our visit, I noticed that flights were behind their actual schedule. Anyways, the airlines are to be requested to be punctual. Day 2 Visit to Jomsom was very nice. We really enjoyed the welcome treatment by the owner of hotel Om's Home and our stay there. Rooms, environment and food were homely. Though it had limited menu but it was delicious. The trekking to Dhumba Lake and Marpha City was wonderful. The Lama Dance in Marpha Monastery was excellent and I would also like to comment on the Tomato soup and Apple Crumble of Marpha, which is not available anywhere in the world. The hospitality of the Mayor of the Marpha City is praiseworthy. Guides for Marpha and Muktinath were not trained guides and had limited knowledge and they also had communication problems. Visit to apple farm was great and we really enjoyed the nice apples of Jomsom and its juice. Day 3 Visit to Muktinath was good with scenic view of the valley and snow covered peaks. Transport needs up gradation. The view from Kagbeni from the top was excellent but village itself did not impress. My sincere thanks to Aarya Village Travel for organizing an exclusive family trip to Muktinath from April 18 to 21, 2010. Certainly, it was like a dream come true being with family members in Holy Muktinath surrounded by lovely panoramic mountains and passes. My mother who is running 70 years had also thoroughly enjoyed the trip including a walk from Jharkot to Muktinath. Comprised of dream destiny to Muktinath, the trip was a wonderful education package for my school going kids throughout. The Kaligandaki gorge stands still holding hundreds of Shaligrams (believed to be a divine gift of Lord Vishnu to the mankind) is a mysterious indeed. Kagbeni that segregates lower and upper Mustang (once known as hidden kingdom) seemed well preserved for its local heritage, culture and traditional values including livelihood for generations set over the green riverine valley. Om’s Home in Jomsom overlooking gigantic Nilgiri Mountain was fabulous and in a friendly approach signifying true hospitality. Having excellent Nepali meal while staying at Om’s Home away from home was the perfect choice. We travelled back overland from Jomsom-Ghasa-Tatopani-Beni to Pokhara on a jeep was exciting and adventurous. Nevertheless, we would not have had an opportunity to witness wonderful combination of nature, vibrant bio-diversity and a real overview of rural Nepal, had we choose to fly back to Pokhara.
