Detail Itinerary
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu, one of our representatives shall meet, assist and transfer you to the hotel. As you enjoy welcome drinks, our representative will brief you about upcoming programs. The rest of the day will be at your leisure.
We will embark on a sightseeing tour of UNESCO Heritage sites, starting with a unique experience at Patan Durbar Square. Here, the splendid architecture from the Malla period will unfold before us. Then, we will explore Boudhanath, the largest stupa in the valley, encircled by monasteries. Take in the spiritual atmosphere and marvel at the architectural wonders that surround us. To add to the cultural richness, we will also visit Pashupatinath, a sacred Hindu temple complex, witnessing the cultural and religious significance of this historic site.
After enjoying breakfast, we will embark on a drive towards Shivapuri National Park. The journey itself promises to be a wonderful experience as it guides us through the dense and lush forests of the Kathmandu Valley. Along the route, we will have the opportunity to witness small streams meandering through the landscape. Upon reaching the resort, take some time to rest. In the evening, we will partake in a short walk towards an artificial water reservoir. The atmosphere is serene, accompanied by the gentle rustling of leaves and the melodic chirping of birds.
Awake to the enchanting sound of birds as the sun rises over the Himalayan peaks. Following a delicious breakfast, we will embark on a hike towards Lakhuri Banjyang. Throughout the hike, we will have the opportunity to observe various species of birds while enjoying panoramic views of the Himalayan range in eastern Nepal. Following the hike, we will drive back to Kathmandu. The evening is designated for rest and relaxation.
Today, we will fly to Bhadrapur airport and then proceed to Illam in a private vehicle. Freshen up and take some rest. Illam is renowned for its tea gardens and high-quality tea. Here, we have the option to explore and taste tea made from freshly plucked tea leaves.
After breakfast, we will drive from Ilam to Dobato Community Homestay, where we will be warmly welcomed by the hosts. In the evening, immerse yourself in Nepali culture through its culinary traditions by cooking alongside your host. Learn how to prepare local dishes that are a part of the daily life of the locals. Capture photos or take notes to recreate these dishes whenever you desire.
Today we will be busy searching for the elusive panda throughout the day. Dobato is renowned for sightings of Red Pandas, and we will venture deep into the forest with the assistance of forest guardians and wildlife tracking experts. The hosts will provide us with a packed lunch, allowing us to enjoy an uninterrupted full-day excursion. The forest guide will also provide insights into the behaviors and any traces of the animals you may encounter.
On the second day, start your morning early once again. We will be walking through the forest with the Red Panda Trackers, aiming to track the elusive animal. During these forest walks, we may also have the opportunity to witness a diverse range of birds and animals. The guide will ensure that we don't miss any sightings that come your way.
On the third day, embrace the early morning routine once again. We will embark on another forest expedition alongside the Red Panda Trackers, with the goal of locating the elusive red panda or catching sight of a few more.
After breakfast at the homestay, we will drive back to Ilam. Upon reaching the hotel, take your time to explore the hill station and breathe in the clean, fresh air infused with the fragrance of the rich tea leaves found in Ilam.
Today, after breakfast, we will drive to Bhadrapur airport to catch a 25-minute flight to Kathmandu. Upon reaching Kathmandu, take some time to rest and relax in the capital city. You can choose to embark on a sightseeing tour, indulge in shopping, or simply spend quality time together.
The journey continues towards one of the oldest town in Nepal - Bhaktapur. Enriched with local folklore, myths, ancient trade routes, temples, and courtyards; the town replicates an open museum filled with medieval art and architecture. Enjoy a leisurely guided walk at the Pottery square, where handicrafts are still made in a traditional way. Then we will drive to Kathmandu.
Approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight our representative will transfer you to the airport for your international flight.
