1Day 1 - Welcome to Kathmandu

After landing in Kathmandu, our representative will pick you up at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to your hotel. After checking in at the hotel you will receive a briefing about the program and a refreshing drink.

2Day 2 - Artist of Patan: Paubha painting at UNESCO site

We embark on a day of cultural immersion and artistic discovery in the heart of Nepal. After breakfast, we will participate in a Paubha painting workshop with local artists, to discover the intricacies of this traditional Nepalese art form. Then we'll take a stroll through the UNESCO-listed Patan Durbar Square and admire its ancient temples and rich architecture. To end the day we visit artisans who make copper statues and provide insight into the spiritual meaning of these intricate creations.

3Day 3 - A fusion of art and spirituality

We go on a cultural journey and delve into the age-old art of Ranjana Lipi together with local artists. In this workshop you can unravel the secrets of this traditional script and get started with beautiful calligraphy yourself. After the workshop we drive to Pharping for a breathtaking walk to the Asura cave. Cross picturesque landscapes and immerse yourself in the tranquility of this sacred place, known for its spiritual significance. Delve into the history and learning associated with the cave as we explore the legend of Padmasambhava, the revered Buddhist master.

4Day 4 - Buddhist philosophical session with monks

We start our day with an early morning meditation session led by the monks, including a short 60 to 90 minute session on Buddhist philosophy. This offers us a valuable moment to reflect on our well-being and achieve a sense of serene peace of mind. After breakfast we travel to the Namo Buddha Monastery, a place where we can relax in the serene natural environment. This Buddhist pilgrimage site is known not only for its spiritual significance but also for the cultivation of rice, mustard and millet, allowing us to witness the beauty of terraced farms in the hills.

5Day 5 - Bhaktapur's architectural wonders, ancient crafts and mythical stories

Our journey takes us to the oldest cities of Nepal - Panauti & Bhaktapur. After a hot lunch at the Panauti community homestay we explore Bhaktapur, a city rich in local folklore, myths, ancient trade routes and decorated with temples. In Bhaktapur, a guided walk through Pottery Square reveals traditional crafts made using age-old techniques. Witness the spinning and baking of clay pots, preserving the craft traditions of Bhaktapur. Then visit the paper factory to gain insight into the age-old Lokta paper that is processed into various crafts.

6Day 6 - Divine encounter: Encounter with the living goddess - Kumari

In the morning we visit Kumari Ghar, the residence of the living goddess, to learn about the rigorous selection process and the importance of Kumari in Nepalese culture. In the evening we visit the galleries of local artisans and listen to their personal stories and stories behind their masterpieces. This is followed by dinner with a local family, where loved ones come together to share food, happiness, love, laughter and stories.

7Day 7 - Harmony of beliefs: Blessings in Boudhanath's & Aarati puja in Pashupatinath

Our next destination is Boudhanath, a colossal stupa that radiates spiritual energy and cultural richness. Here we will immerse ourselves in the sacred practice of receiving blessings from monks and offering them food - a gesture of generosity that deepens our connection with the spiritual realm. As night falls, experience the devotional atmosphere of Pashupatinath, with the temple bells ringing in the distance. Gather along the ghats for the enchanting Aarati Puja, a ceremony of lights and prayers. The scent of incense creates holiness, while rhythmic chants and ritual sacrifices create a captivating spectacle.

8Day 8 - Farewell to Nepal
