Nepal, situated in-between two giants India and China, its own grandeur lies in its majestic mountains, breathtaking scenery and ancient traditions and cultures of its charming people. This journey takes you from the top of the world to the lowland jungles, through ancient cities, towns and villages rich in spiritual and cultural heritage.
Day 1: Kathmandu - 1300m altitude, Welcome dinner at Dwarika’s Hotel (D)
Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative at Tribhuvan International Airport. At your hotel you will be briefed about your tour as you enjoy your welcome drinks.

Relax at the end of the day with a book from the library. Delve into Nepali culture and history. Or you can swim like a king in a pool reminiscent of 12th century Malla Dynasty
Day 2: Sightseeing: Patan/Boudhanath/Pashupatinath (B)
After a leisurely breakfast, start a full day of sightseeing activities at UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Patan Durbar Square – A distinct place for arts and architecture that is reflected on each temple, monument and palace that were built during the Malla Dynasty between the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries.
Boudhanath Stupa – The world’s biggest stupa, one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage sites where Buddhists from all over come to pay homage.
Pashupatinath Temple – A famous and sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Pashupatinath. It is located on the banks of the Bagmati river. It consists of a sprawling collection g temples, “ashrams” spiritual hermitage, statues, images and inscriptions raised over centuries.
Evening you can visit the lovely Library lounge or enjoy swimming in the back pool
Day 3: Kathmandu – Pokhara - 900m altitude (Mountain Glory Forest Resort) (B, D)
Today we fly to Pokhara after breakfast. A 30 minute flight from Kathmandu domestic airport. Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty, situated at an altitude of 900m from the sea level and 200km west of Kathmandu valley. The enchanting town has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambiance of peace and magic.
Once we arrive at Pokhara you will be transferred to Mountain Glory Forest Resort, on one of the picturesque ridges of the Seti river. It offers the best of both worlds: a laid back natural escape just 15 minutes from Pokhara.
Venture out and discover Macchapuchure (Fishtail Mountain), lush green hills, stunning landscape and the Seti River and later return to the resort and unwind and relax at the luxurious in-house spa.
Day 4: Pokhara sightseeing, Relax at the resort (B, D)
The mornings offer breathtaking views of the mountains from your private balcony of the airy spacious rooms.
After lunch we spend the afternoon sightseeing. We will visit the Gupteshwor cave, popular for the different natural forms made from limestone deposits. Devi’s Fall (Patale Chango) is located next to Gupteshwor cave and runs through the cave and disappears underground. Later we visit Phewa Lake and enjoy an hour of boating while we visit the Barahi Temple located on an island in the middle of the lake.
Return back to the resort where you can relax at the pool with magnificent mountain views.
Day 5: Pokhara- Chitwan (Barahi Jungle Lodge) (B, L, D)
After a relaxed breakfast we take a 20 minute flight to Chitwan National Park then transfer to Barahi Jungle Lodge. While you are being served welcome drinks, there will be a short briefing about the Park and your program.
After lunch we indulge in some canoeing on a traditional Patela Canoe (dugout canoe) which is made from the trunk of a single tree. This offers you the chance to quietly observe the exotic species of birds and animals that come for sip at the water’s edge.
Slide Presentation - An experienced naturalist will introduce background data and history of the Chitwan National Park as well as some other topics relating to wildlife. Your questions are most welcome.
Overnight: Barahi Jungle Lodge
Day 6: Chitwan (B, L, D)
Wake-up call followed by tea or coffee then proceed for Bird watching & Jungle walk - Take a stroll through the jungles. Out of the 519 species of birds 276 species have been recorded in the resort area. Our expert guides will help identify some of the bird species.
After Breakfast visit Elephant briefing/Bathing program: Learn more about these fascinating animals during a visit to our elephant stables followed by Elephant Bathing in the River.
Jeep Safari/Boating – (depending on the weather and water levels on the river). After lunch we cross the Rapti River by Patela Canoe we embark on a jeep safari. Which begins on open grasslands and continues inside the dense Sal forest crossing the Rue River inside the park were we see a variety of wildlife, aquatic birds and marsh Muggers. The duration is about 2.5 to 3 hours.
Tharu Cultural Show– In the evening farmers from nearby villages perform traditional dances and show off their skills.

Day 7: Chitwan – Kathmandu, Drive Dhulikhel: Dwarika’s Resort (B)
Wake-up calls followed by tea/coffee.
Village Visit with Bullock Cart Ride: Our naturalist will brief you about the social and cultural aspect of the villagers and their lifestyle. After the visit, ride on a bullock cart and come back to the resort.
Later we transfer to the airport for our flight to Kathmandu, we then drive for approximately 1.5 hours to Dhulikhel.
Dhulikhel – A medieval town famous for views of the Himalayas, which include more than 20 mid-eastern peaks such as Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Ganesh Himal, Mt. Langtang, Mt. Gaurishanker, Mt. Lhotse and many others.

Day 8: Bhaktapur sightseeing-Kathmandu: Dwarika Hotel (B)
Enjoy a beautiful sunrise view from the resort over Eastern Himalayas of Nepal. You can take part in a morning meditation session at the hotel. After Breakfast drive to Kathmandu. Visit Bhaktapur in route, the medieval town or the city of the Devotees, preserves medieval arts, architecture, culture, and lifestyle to this date. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is the best preserved of all the Valley's three Durbar Squares. One is sure to feel like traveling back into the past while walking along Bhaktapur thoroughfares, squares and streets. Enjoy sightseeing at Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Pottery Square, Dattatraya Square.
In the evening indulge in a 6 course dinner at Krishnarpan Restaurant at Dwarika’s, it is like taking a culinary journey through the fascinating terrains and cuisines of Nepal. Serving the finest Nepali of Nepali flavors, Krishnarpan is a slow dining experience reminiscent of the ritual feasts enjoyed by the Kathmandu Valley's Newari community.
Day 9: Departure (B)
Approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight a representative from Aarya Village Travel will transfer you to the airport for your onward journey.
