Day 1: Kathmandu - 1300m altitude
Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu and meet, assist and transfer to the hotel with our representative. Welcome drinks on arrival and briefing of tour program by one of the representatives from Aarya Village Travel.
Day 2: Sightseeing: Patan Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath & Pashupatinath Temple, Aarati: evening ritual (B)
After Breakfast starts sightseeing at UNESCO Heritage Sites. Sightseeing at Patan Durbar Square- a distinct place for arts and architecture that reflect on each temple, monument and palace building that were mostly built during the Malla period between 16th, 17th and 18th century and Swayambhunath - A Monkey Temple from where you can see the magnificent views of Kathmandu Valley and tribute to Buddhism and Bouddhanath- World biggest stupa, one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage where all devout Buddhists come for a pilgrimage
In the evening visit Pashupatinath Temple, a famous, sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Pashupatinath is located on the banks of the Bagmati River. This "extensive Hindu temple precinct" is a "sprawling collection of temples, ashrams, images and inscriptions raised over the centuries
Observe ‘Aarati’ at the banks of Bagmati River on the eastern side of the temple draws people in hordes. This evening rituals with a band singing hymns in praise of God, playing of classical instruments, chanting of Vedic mantras, a ringing of bells, burning of incense, and lighting of oil lamps, keep the people spellbound throughout
Day 3: Kathmandu – Pokhara (B)
After Breakfast drive to Pokhara. It is around 6-7 hours drive from Kathmandu (depends on traffic). Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty, situated at an altitude of 900m from the sea level and 200km west of Kathmandu valley. The enchanting town has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambiance of peace and magic. Check in the hotel. Evening enjoy walking along the bank of Phewa Lake, admiring the stunning reflection of the Fish Tail Peak in the blue Phewa Lake waters
Day 4: Sarangkot sunrise view tour: Pokhara Sightseeing: Boating & short hike to World Peace Pagoda (B)
Early in the morning excursion to Sarangkot hill for closer Mountain View. Situated at an altitude of 1,592m, Sarangkot offers the magnificent view of Sunrise over Mt. Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Massif (weather permitting). After enjoying the beauty of nature, return to the hotel for breakfast.
After Breakfast starts half day sightseeing at Bindhyabasini Temple, Gupteshower Cave- popular for the different natural forms made from limestone deposits and Devi’s Fall -which comes to its gushing best just before disappearing underground. Later you will have boating at Phewa Lake for around 30 minutes and hike to World Peace Pagoda for around 45 minutes. Enjoy the beautiful view of Pokhara city and Himalayan views from Stupa
Day 5: Pokhara to Chitwan (B, L, D)
After breakfast drive to Chitwan for around 5 hours. After checking in to the hotel and getting refreshed you will be briefed about full nature programs by our naturalist guide. Then we head on for activities. There will be a guided village walk and a walk on the banks of the Rapti River to watch the charming sunset views in the sub-tropical jungle. In the evening, dinner with a cultural program by ethnic tribal people with their stick dance and tribal drums. Overnight at Chitwan.
Day 6: Chitwan (B, L, D)
Wakeup call with a cup of hot tea/coffee. After breakfast on your choice visit to the elephant breading center to see baby elephants with bird watching in a river bank, go for Canoe ride along the Rapti River. An excellent opportunity for bird watching and for seeing the 2 rare species of crocodiles; the Marsh Mugger and the only fish eating Gharial then you will be taken to real nature walk with different type’s vegetation to see many different types of floras and faunas. Before lunch, you can take a leisurely relax a little while. After lunch goes for a Jeep safari, an excellent opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, monkeys, leopard, sloth bear, and the Royal Bengal Tiger. You will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Chitwan their home. Evening Slide presentation: One of our jungle experts will introduce background data and history of the Chitwan National Park as well as some other topics relating to wildlife. Overnight at Chitwan.
Day 7: Chitwan – Kathmandu, Rickshaw ride at a traditional market (B)
Wake up call with hot Coffee/tea. After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu for around 6 hours (depends on traffic). Check in the hotel. You will offer for the rest and refreshment in a hotel. Evening hire a rickshaw and ride to traditional old bazaar area- Ason area and around Indrachowk.
Day 8: Nagarkot via Bhaktapur (B)
After Breakfast drive to Nagarkot for around 1 & ½ hour. Nagarkot is very famous for an overnight stay away from hustle and bustle of the city. It offers a magnificent view of Himalayan ranges in clear weather. Enroutre we visit Bhaktapur, the medieval town or the city of the Devotees, preserves medieval arts, architecture, culture, and lifestyle to this date. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is the best preserved one of the Valley's three Durbar Squares. One is sure to feel like traveling back into the past while walking along the Bhaktapur thoroughfares, squares and streets. Sightseeing at Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Pottery square and Taumadi square
Day 9: Sunrise view tour and Departure (B)
Early morning enjoy the beautiful sunrise & long chain of mountains from your hotel room/terrace
Approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight a representative from Aarya Village Travel will transfer you to the airport for final departure to your home country.
