On this exciting tour on the most scenic trekking route, you will experience all the best the country has to offer. An authentic experience as you walk and hike past villages where culture and traditions have stood still for centuries. You will get a first-hand experience of rural Nepal.
Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival - 1300m
Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative at Thribhuvan International Airport. At your hotel you will be briefed about the tour as you enjoy your welcome drinks.
Day 2: Fly to Pokhara and Trek to Majgaon
Today, we will drive to the airport and fly to Pokhara. The flight takes approximately 25 minutes. This flight offers spectacular views of the mountain chains of Langtang, Manaslu and Annapurna. Pokhara is the second largest tourist city of Nepal.
After arriving at Pokhara airport, you will be met by our trek leader and then transferred to Lumle which is our Trek start point. This drive will take one hour. We will stop along the way to photograph the breathtaking panoramas of the Annapurna ranges. After about 45 minutes, we arrive at the village of Chandrakot located at an altitude of 1580m. From this village, there are remarkable views of Annapurna South, the sacred and unclimbed Fishtail Mountain. From Chandrakot, our walk takes us through a forested area along a well-worn trail for a further 45 minutes to the Gurung/Mala Lodge which is located at an altitude of 1400m.
Day 3: Trek to Landruk
After breakfast, we start our journey towards Landruk which passes through Rhododendron forests and small Gurung villages. To reach the beautiful village of Landruk we have to walk approximately 3 to 4 hours. After having lunch at the lodge, your guide will organize a small visit to nearby Gurung village.
Day 4: Trek to Ghandurk
When you wake up, you can enjoy the views of the majestic mountains. After breakfast, we start our trek downhill to Modi Khola. The trail goes sharply down towards the river through scattered villages with beautiful views of the Himalayas, there is a vertical ascent to reach Ghandruk. From Ghandruk, you have amazing views of Gangapurna, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Mount Annapurna and other snow-capped mountains. If time permits, we will visit the local museum and the village.
Day 5: Trek to Tadapani
Today you can enjoy your breakfast in the garden from where you can see the sunrise over Annapurna South, Annapurna 1, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, and Mount Macchapuchure (Fishtail Mountain). After enjoying a relaxing breakfast and the glorious views from the Himalaya Lodge, we start our trek to Tadapani which passes through rhododendron forests.
Day 6: Trek to Ghorepani
After breakfast, we leave the Lodge walking out through the Rhododendron forests. Today we need to walk 5-6 hours to reach Ghorepani. You can see the magnificent view of Annapurna South and Himchuli while walking uphill through fields and pastures. The trail passes through rhododendron and oak forests. You can enjoy the magnificent views of the Himalayas range.
Day 7: Visit Poonhill and trek to down to Ulleri
In the morning we hike to Poohhill from where you can see the panoramic Himalayan scenery. The views are literally breathtaking, stretching from Dhaulagiri to Manaslu in the east with the Annapurna range. After enjoying the views, we return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, we leave Ghorepani & trek to Ulleri. The trail goes steeply upwards about one and half an hour till Ulleri (2080 m). Ulleri is a small Magar village which offers you the view of Mt Annapurna South (7219m).
Day 8: Trek to Birethanti
From Ulleri, a Magar village at 1950m, we hike down to Tikhedhunga where we stop for lunch. Then we walk alongside the Burungdi Khola (river). Birethanti is a nice village at the confluence of the Burungdi and the Modi Khola.
Day 9: Drive to Pokhara
After breakfast, we leave the Lodge walking through the village of Birethanti to continue along the Modi River until we reach Nayapool. This is where we meet our vehicle and drive to Pokhara which is about 1&1/2 hour drive. Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty, situated at an altitude of 900m from the sea level and 200km west of Kathmandu valley. This enchanting town has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambiance of peace and magic. Check in hotel. Enjoy walking along the bank of Phewa Lake at evening, admiring the stunning reflection of the Fish Tail Peak in the blue Phewa Lake's water.
Day 10: Fly Back to Kathmandu (B)
After breakfast, we drive to the airport and depart to Kathmandu which is about 25 minutes flight from Pokhara.
Day 11: Departure (B)
Approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight a representative from Aarya Village Travel will transfer you to the airport for final departure to your home country.
