ITINERARY FOR GHOREPANI POONHILL LUXURY TREK

Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival - 1300m
Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu and meet, assist and transfer to the hotel by our representative. Welcome drinks on arrival and briefing of tour program by one of the representatives from Aarya Village Travel. 

Day 2: Fly to Pokhara and Trek to Majgaon
Today, we will drive to the airport and depart to Pokhara. It is about 25minutes flight to the Pokhara, the second largest tourist city of Nepal. This flight offers spectacular views of the chains of Langtang, Manaslu and Annapurna.

After the arrival at Pokhara airport, our trek guide and transferred to Lumle which is our walk start point. This drive will take one hour. We will stop along the way to photograph the breathtaking panoramas of the Annapurna ranges. After some 45 minutes, we arrive at the village of Chandrakot located at an altitude of 1580m. From this village, there are remarkable views of Annapurna South, the sacred and unclimbed Fishtail Mountain. From Chandrakot, our walk takes us through a forested area along a well-worn trail for a further 45 minutes to the Gurung/Mala Lodge which is placed at an altitude of 1400m.

Day 3: Trek to Landruk
After breakfast, we start our walking journey towards Landruk which passes through the Rhododendron forest and small Gurung villages. To reach the beautiful village of Landruk we have to walk 3-4 hours. After having lunch in the lodge, your guide will organize a small visit to nearby Gurung village. 

Day 4: Trek to Ghandurk
As you wake up, you can enjoy the view of the majestic mountains. After the breakfast, we start our trekking by downward to Modi Khola. The trail goes sharply down towards the river through scattered villages with beautiful views of the Himalayas then there is a vertical ascent to reach Ghandruk. From Ghandruk, you can have good views of Gangapurna, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Mount Annapurna and other snow-capped mountains. If time permits, visit the local museum and the village.

Day 5: Trek to Tadapani
Today you can enjoy your breakfast in the garden from where you can see the sunrise over Annapurna South, Annapurna 1, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, and the Fishtail. After enjoying a relaxing breakfast and the glorious views from the Himalaya Lodge, we start our trek to Tadapani which passes through rhododendron forest.

Day 6: Trek to Ghorepani
After breakfast, we leave the Lodge walking out through the Rhododendron forest. Today we need to walk 5-6 hours to reach Ghorepani. You can see the magnificent view of Annapurna South and Himchuli while walking uphill through fields and pastures. The trail passes through rhododendrons and oak forest. You can enjoy the magnificent view of the Himalayas range.

Day 7: Visit Poonhill and trek to down to Ulleri
This morning, we hike to Poohhill from where you can see the panoramic Himalayan scenery. The views are literally breathtaking, stretching from Dhaulagiri to Manaslu in the east with the Annapurna range in between. After enjoying the views, we return to lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, we leave Ghorepani & trek to Ulleri. The trail goes steeply upwards about one and half hour till above Ulleri (2080 m). Ulleri is a small Magar village which can offer you the view of Mt Annapurna South (7219m).

Day 8: Trek to Birethanti
From Ulleri, a Magar village at 1950m, it is a flight of steps down to Tikhedhunga where we stop for lunch. Then we go down alongside the Burungdi Khola. Birethanti is a nice village at the confluence of the Burungdi and the Modi Khola. 

Day 9: Drive to Pokhara
After breakfast, we leave the Lodge walking out through the village of Birethanti to continue along the Modi River until we reach Nayapool. This is where we meet our vehicle and drive to Pokhara which is about 1&1/2 hour drive. Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty, situated at an altitude of 900m from the sea level and 200km west of Kathmandu valley. The enchanting town has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambiance of peace and magic. Check in hotel. Evening enjoys walking along the bank of Phewa Lake, admiring the stunning reflection of the Fish Tail Peak in the blue Phewa Lake waters.

Day 10: Fly Back to Kathmandu (B)
After breakfast, we drive to the airport and depart to Kathmandu which is about 25 minutes flight from Pokhara.

Day 11: Departure (B)
Approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight a representative from Aarya Village Travel will transfer you to the airport for final departure to your home country.
