After enjoying a delicious breakfast, get ready for an incredible sightseeing tour of UNESCO Heritage Sites in Nepal. Our first stop is Patan Durbar Square, where you'll be amazed by the exquisite arts and architecture reflecting the Malla period. Explore the unique Durbar Squares and witness the skillful Thanka painters and fine metal shops. Don't miss the opportunity to savor local cuisine in Patan's charming alleys.
Next, we'll head to Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple. Enjoy breathtaking views of Kathmandu Valley from this sacred Buddhist site. The stupa represents wisdom, compassion, and unity, surrounded by prayer wheels. The sunset panorama will leave a lasting impression.

After a delicious breakfast, embark on an approximately 6-hour drive to Pokhara. Situated 210 km west of Kathmandu, this enchanting lakeside city is a popular tourist destination in Nepal. Prepare to be captivated by its natural beauty, breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks, and modern amenities.
The drive itself is a unique experience as you follow the mighty river, surrounded by scenic greenery and glimpses of human settlements along the way. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel, freshen up, and take some well-deserved rest. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely walk along the picturesque Phewa Lake, marveling at the stunning reflection of the Fish Tail Peak on the tranquil waters.

4Day 4 - Drive to World Peace Pagoda: Explore & short hike to Kalabang (1344m altitude): Lunch with family

After Breakfast drive to World Peace Pagoda which takes around 25 minutes. Enjoy beautiful views of Pokhara city, Sarangkot hills, and the Himalayas from Stupa. Shanti Stupa, as it is also known, was built as a symbol of peace. It is the first World Peace Pagoda in Nepal. The pagoda is 115 feet tall and 344 feet in diameter. The white pagoda has two tiers for tourists and religious visitors to circumambulate.
After a short excursion at Peace Pagoda, we start hiking to Kalabang. The quaint location offers an alternative to the crowded viewpoint at Sarangkot, with spectacular panoramic views of the Annapurna Range. Fewa Tall's waters stretch out disappearing into the surrounding hills. In certain seasons the horizon is blurred between the sky and the lake. Here we will have lunch hosted by a local family and later, escorted by a local, we will visit Pumdi village. Drive to the lakeside. Rest of the day is free on your own.

Start your morning with a delightful one-hour boat ride on Phewa Lake, where you'll visit the beautiful Barahi Temple located on an island in the middle of the lake. Afterward, explore Bindhyabasini Temple, Gupteshower Cave known for its unique limestone formations, and Devi's Fall, a mesmerizing waterfall that disappears underground.
Next, take a short visit to Pokhara city before driving to the Tibetan Refugee Camp, situated 5 km northwest of Hyangja on the road to Baglung. In the heart of the village, you'll find Jangchub Choeling Gompa, a Tibetan monastery adorned with prayer flags fluttering in the breeze. Visit around 3:30 to 5:00 pm to witness the profound chanting and horn blowing during the monks' prayer sessions. It's an awe-inspiring experience you won't want to miss.

Immerse yourself in the local culture of Kathmandu with a unique rickshaw ride. Meet our guide, who will accompany you on a delightful tour through the bustling streets of Thamel. Experience the vibrant atmosphere as you pass by various handicraft shops, offering treasures like pashmina shawls and Nepali carpets. Explore the lively Ason Bazaar, a 1000-year-old vegetable and spice market, and finally reach Durbar Square. Marvel at the ancient temples, palaces, and shrines that adorn this historical site. Take a leisurely walk through the square, visit the house of the Living Goddess, and discover the Hanuman Dhoka Palace. If you're in the mood, you can also explore the quirky shops on Freak Street, reminiscent of the hippie era. Today we will combine your asia tour; as we'll board a Bhutan Airline or Druk Air flight to Paro. During the flight, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of mountains and landscapes. Upon arrival, our representative will warmly welcome and assist you. Begin your exploration with a visit to the fascinating Rinpung Dzong, known as the 'fortress of the heap of jewels,' a historic seat of the Paro district.
Next, we'll drive to Thimphu, the charming capital city of Bhutan, which takes approximately 1.5 hours. En route, we'll stop at Tachog Lhakhang, a must-visit 14th-century temple situated at the base of a mountain. Marvel at the unique statues and cross the iron chain suspension bridge over the Paro Chu River. Continuing along the Wangchu (Thimphu River), we'll reach the beautiful Thimphu valley.
After checking into the hotel, we'll visit Kuenselphodrang, where you'll be amazed by the towering 169 feet tall statue of Buddha Dordema. Take in the panoramic view of Thimphu, the capital city. Then, explore Thimphu Trashi Chho Dzong, a historic Buddhist monastery and fortress, traditionally serving as the seat of Bhutan's civil government and the present king.

10Day 10 - Thimphu to Punakha: 71 km/ Drive duration: 2 ½ hours (B, L, D)

In the morning, drive through the scenic DochuLa pass (3140m). On a clear day, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the Himalayan summits, spanning about 200 miles along the northern border of Bhutan. Visit Druk Wangyal Lhakhang, a unique monastery built by the Queen Mother as a tribute to the fourth King of Bhutan. Admire the beautiful murals depicting significant events in Bhutan's royal history.
As we descend from the pass, the landscape transitions from sub-alpine to sub-tropical, with lush vegetation, banana plants, cacti, and terraced rice fields in Punakha. Enjoy a lunch break at Metsina village before embarking on a hike to Chhimi Lhakhang, also known as the Divine Madman's Monastery. This monastery is famous for its fertility shrine, where you can receive a special fertility blessing. The Divine Madman is renowned for his unconventional behavior.
Our exploration of Punakha valley begins with a visit to Punakha Dzong. Situated between two rivers, this majestic fortress serves as the winter residence for the central monastic body. After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive from Thimphu to Paro. Along the way, visit the Traditional Handmade Paper Factory and Handicraft Emporium to discover local craftsmanship. Explore the Memorial Chorten, a beautiful Buddhist monument, and marvel at the grandeur of Buddha Point.
Upon reaching Paro, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's oldest and most sacred monasteries built in the 7th century by the King of Tibet. Continue towards the north to see the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong, originally built to commemorate a victory over Tibetan forces. Weather permitting, catch a glimpse of the magnificent Mt. Chomolhari from the Drukgyal Dzong.

Paro Valley is steeped in religious significance and mythical tales. Its most renowned landmark, Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), perches dramatically on a granite cliff 800m above the valley. According to legend, the revered Guru Rinpoche flew to Paro on a tigress and meditated at Taktsang. This monastery is a cherished national treasure of Bhutan.
Embarking on the hike to Taktsang, expect a journey of approximately two and a half hours. Along the way, after about an hour's uphill walk, we'll reach a cafeteria offering a magnificent view of the monastery. For those interested, an additional 45-minute uphill walk will provide a closer glimpse of the monastery before returning to the cafeteria for lunch. The descent back to the road-head will take less than one and a half hours.
