Day 1: Kathmandu - 1300m altitude

Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu and meet, assists and transfer to the Gokarna Forest Resort by our representative. Welcome drinks on arrival and briefing of tour program by one of the representative from Aarya Village Travel. Overnight at Dwarika’s Hotel.

Dwarika’s Hotel is unbeatable for its stylish design and sheer romance. Over 40 years the owners have rescued thousands of woodcarvings from around the valley and incorporated them into the hotel design. The end result is a beautiful hybrid – a cross between a museum and a boutique hotel, with a lush, pampering ambience.

Dwarika’s Hotel offer a regal experience comparable to the Royal Suites of the 14th century Malla Kings of Nepal, set magnificently over three floors and an area of 250 sq metres. With an open-air breakfast terrace attached to the spacious bedroom, the suite also has a separate living area and an entrance foyer. Day 2: Free day at Dwarika’s Hotel (B)

After breakfast you will have full day leisure at Dwarika’s Hotel.

You can take the Pancha Kosha Himalayan Spa on your own at Dwarika’s Hotel. The Pancha Kosha Himalaya draws on ayurveda, Buddhist medicine and traditional rituals and treatments. The Spa takes its name from the five layers of being found in Himalayan philosophies. 

Evening you can have a Krishnarpan Dinner ranges from 6 courses to 22 courses.


Day 3: Kathmandu – Pokhara - 900m altitude (Rupakot Resort) (B)

After Breakfast drive to airport and depart to Pokhara. It is 30 flights from Kathmandu. Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty, situated at an altitude of 900m from the sea level and 200km west of Kathmandu valley. The enchanting town has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambience of peace and magic. Check into Rupakot Resort.

Rupakot Resort, this luxury resort is located on the top of Rupakot village about 22 KM East from Pokhara spreading in 25 acres of land. The resort is a combination of nature, luxury and heritage. 

Nature is always on its best at Rupakot offering a wonderful view of Rupa & Begnas Taals (lakes), Himalayas (Annapurna, Fishtail & Manaslu), Pokhara valley and, of course, sunrise and sunset. This area with sub-tropical climate is a home to verities of flowers, plants, trees, birds, animals and butterflies. Day 4: Rupakot Resort (B)

Early morning enjoy the magnificent view of Sunrise over Mt. Machhapuchhre, Manaslu and Annapurna Massif from the resort. After Breakfast you will have free day in Resort.

Today you can do nearby village tour with our in-house knowledgeable guide where you will experience local culture, people & daily lifestyle.  Or you can enjoy your free time with our special Yoga and Meditation session at resort which is the best medicine to escape from your daily business life from city.



Day 5: Pokhara- Chitwan (B, L, D)

After breakfast, depart to Chitwan. It is 30 min flight from Pokhara. The beautiful landscape of mountain will follow you throughout your flight.

Arrive at Barahi Jungle Lodge. Stay at Suite Room an up class private villa also called an architectural marvel offering vintage luxury in natural peace. Magnificent bedrooms with personal bar, opening to a landscape view of flowing river and extended grasslands with private wooden terrace that extends to a private campfire place and a private swimming pool.

Upon arrival, welcome drink is served and there will be a short briefing on the program. After Lunch we head on for activities. 



Elephant-back safari: Short drive for about 5 minutes from the resort for a ride on elephant to explore the jungle and wildlife, the one-horned rhinoceros, several types of deer, monkeys, wild boar, bison, sloth bear, leopard and, if lucky, the Royal Bengal tiger. This exciting ride lasts for 2-2½ hours.

Slide presentation: One of our jungle experts will introduce background data and history of the Chitwan National Park as well as some other topics relating to wildlife. Your questions are most welcome.

Dinner at the central dining hall.


Day 6: Chitwan (B, L, D)

Wake-up call followed by tea or coffee then proceed for

Bird watching/Nature walk: Out of 519 species of the birds we have recorded 276 species in our area. Hence, the area around Barahi Jungle Lodge is considered a Paradise for bird watchers. Our guides will help you to identify some of the species of these birds.

After Breakfast visit Elephant briefing/Bathing program: Learn more about these fascinating animals during a visit to our elephant stables followed by Elephant Bathing in the River. 

After Lunch go for Jeep Safari/Boating (subject to weather conditions & water level in the river): Proceed for the Jeep Safari crossing the Rapti River by Patela Boat to start with. After crossing the Rapti River start the excursion on a jeep for Jeep safari (Jungle Drive) which begins from the open grassland area followed by the mix (riverrine) forest which continues inside the dense Sal Forest crossing the Reu River inside the Park to see different wildlife around Tiger Tops Jungle Lodge surroundings area and oxbow lakes (Devi Tal, Munda Tal, Lamo Tal, Kamal Tal) to view different wildlife, Aquatic birds and the Marsh Muggers. After the drive come down to Khoria Mohan at the bank of Narayani River and view Gharials (Fresh Water Alligator) basking in the sun by the river banks. Then after this short breathtaking break continue the drive and come around Bhimle check post area and view the wildlife from Bhimle Machan (wooden platform) in the surrounding areas and end the drive by the Rapti River Bank. This whole drive will be around 2½ -3 hours. After the drive come down to the Rapti River and start boating in a traditional patela boat for about 45 minutes which takes you on a silent trip down the Rapti River to view aquatic birds, crocodiles, Gharials and the animals of the river banks. After Boating walk back to the resort.

In the evening go for Tharu Cultural dance: Farmers of the nearby villages will show some of their traditional skills and dances.

Dinner in the central dining hall or outside at the pool area.



Day 7: Chitwan – Kathmandu- Dhulikhel (B)

Wake-up calls followed by tea/coffee.  Village Visit with Bullock Cart Ride: Our naturalist will brief you about the social and cultural aspect of the villagers and their lifestyle. After the visit ride on a bullock cart and come back to the resort.

After breakfast fly back to Kathmandu and further fly to Dhulikhel. It is around 35 min flight from Chitwan to Dhulikhel. The medieval Newari town of Dhulikhel lies on the highway connecting Kathmandu with Tibet's border town of Kodari. Dhulikhel is also famous for the views of more than twenty mid-eastern Himalayan peaks including Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Ganesh Himal, Mt. Langtang, Mt. Gaurishanker, Mt. Lhotse and many others. Overnight at Dwarika’s Resort.

Day 8: Free Day at Dwarika Resort (B)

After Breakfast you will have free day at Dwarika’s Resort.

You can do short hiking and nature walk around the Resort or can enjoy yoga and meditation classes in between nature and other different activities on your own.


Day 9: Departure (B)

Approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight a representative from Aarya Village Travel will transfer you to the airport for final departure to your home country.
